Mobile World Congress 2015 to Host Groundbreaking Mobile Marketing ProgramThe Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Facebook and Nasdaq announced an official partnership this week with the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

According to a statement from the IAB, the partners will jointly produce a full-day of programming on Monday, March 2, 2015 devoted to mobile marketing and advertising.

This occasion — an invite-only event — marks the first time mobile marketing has secured prime agenda placement during the typically tech-focused conference.

“Mobile devices have changed the way that we live and interact with friends, family, work and the entire environment that surrounds us,” says Randall Rothenberg, President and CEO of the IAB. “But it isn’t mobile technology alone that is supporting consumers in their day-to-day activities on smartphones and tablets. Mobile advertising is often the fuel that powers these mobile pursuits – so it is no surprise that the Mobile World Congress is opening its agenda to feature mobile marketing as a major subject of discussion and debate.”
