Mobile marketing has been called the ultimate equalizer, especially when it comes to local businesses trying to compete with and match the marketing power of larger businesses that occupy the same community.

For that reason, equipping locally-owned small businesses with the knowledge and resources requisite to thrive in competition with big companies for consumer affections and dollars is a high priority for the Mobile Marketing Association, as evidenced by the nature of its forthcoming webinar.

Next week, the MMA will present “Enabling Local Businesses To Thrive With Mobile Marketing Solutions.”

The webinar, which is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. PST, will focus on:

  • Repeatable examples of how businesses have used permission-based databases to reach interested customers and drive traffic and sales
  • How mobile loyalty is being delivered on Main Street though customer rewards and outreach that makes businesses top of mind
  • How mobile calls to action have boosted Yellow Pages sales

“In changing media consumption times, it’s imperative for local businesses to adapt to not only survive, but thrive,” the MMA says. “By combining enduring marketing strategies with mobile products and services, SMBs and corporate entities like quick service restaurants are seeing more customers, more often. That translates to more visits to stores and loyalty that brings additional sales.”
