mobileStorm CEO Jared Reitzin has been announced as one of the mHealth experts who will participate in mHealth + Telehealth World 2014 this July.

Organizers for the Boston-based event say that mHealth + Telehealth World 2014 brings together hospitals, health systems, health plans, and innovators to share successes and failures of existing programs and discover new technologies and strategies for expansion of programs.

Reitzin is slated to appear on a panel titled “Improve Population Health through Consumer Engagement and Sustainability.”

“Digital health can have a huge impact on the health of various populations by reducing readmission rates, managing chronic diseases, and improving overall health,” an introduction to the panel reads. “While patients are eager to start these programs, they often lose interest after a short period of time.”

This panel will help attendees learn how to:

  • Design programs that keep consumers engaged and interested
  • Utilize technology to support population health management for various population segments
  • Value the role mobile applications and wearable technologies play in wellness initiatives to improve population health
  • Understand the consumer issues which may reduce adoption and participation and discuss ways to overcome them
